Hello to all, im Danny and am looking at buying an Ek9 Type R.
If i could first of all ask someone to fill me in on every specification of the car (MPG,Performance, bla, bla, bla) That would be excellent! And also what people have paid for there EK's as i am looking to spend 8-9k on mine.

As far as i am aware, Standard the car produces 185BHP @ 8300RPM does
the 0-60 dance in 5.67 seconds if any one can clarify or correct me again i would be most greatfull!

kind Regards Danny!

Yes that what honda says, I think mine makes it in about 6 sec, but mine is not stock.

The time also depends of the engine wear! :woot: Try to get one with the less KM on the clock :)

MPG I think this car is able of making 28 - 35 MPG :nice:

Also if you could all let me know what kind of money t spend theres a guy in southhampton thats going to import me one and id like a guide price as the EK9 is rather rare and there are no book prices out there for them!
thanks!

you having one imported from Duncan?? if so his prices are pretty good :)

Ive a 1998 EK9 I imported myself, its a grade 4 with 62k on the clocks, on the road it will have cost me less than 7k, been offered 8k for her but not selling :)

Im not too far from you (Stirling Area) so if you wanna see what a grade 4 etc looks like your welcome to come see the car

ek9's r more expensive here in cyprus. they range in cyprus pounds 7-9k.
1 guy offered me cyprus pounds 10k for mine!!! but the answer of course was no!!! :D

NEO thanks for the offer i might just take you up on it as i am really looking to get my hands on one!
First of all could i ask what the difference is between a grade 4 and what im looking for?
It looks exactly what i am looking for and also the guy's name who i assume im going to be dealing with is Joe, he said that he could import me one in either black, white or silver (Although he wasnt 100% sure on the black) personaly im not sure if they are posible but i have seen a silver one!

Danny

I can also import you one if you want or put you in touch with someone whos imported over 30 EK9's, each car is graded 0 - 5 a 0 rated car can be an accident damaged or been modified big time or had its paint colour changed etc, grade 5 being a new car, 4 very good condition, 3.5 good condition etc etc

I personally love the silvers but the white ones imo are the best :)

Remember anything above a 97 requires a model report, the E-EK9 97-98 model report being the most expensive to rent

Neo you seem like u really know your stuff mate id really appreciate a hand if i do infact go ahead with it!
Id much prefer one completley standard if thats possible what is a model report?

Regards, Danny

hey mate the dude i was putting you in touch with was Duncan, he owns the model report for the E-EK9, Duncan can explain more to you about it

By buying from Duncan your gonna get a great car at a good price, gice him a phone matey
