Hi everyone, How is everybody doing? I recently purchased a 9 legal and registered in the states. I am a proud owner. I plan on building the car in the a race car in the near future.

Welcome to the site....Looks like a clean example and a very good base for your project.

:welcome: congratulations! :D

Welcome. The 9 looks mint. I bet they are very hard to find over in the us. Are you keeping it right hand drive?

Thanks you guys @fljoshua129 yes i am, i get alot of weird looks from alot of people its quite funny.

Welcome to the USA Type R owners club haha. What's your location? I might take some of your stock parts off your hands when you upgrade if you aren't too far away. I've also got a 98 CTR titled and registered. There are actually 4 in Alabama, 3 registered, but mine is the only one by the actual 10 digit vin. the other two registered are yellow, the one that isn't is white and needing a lot of repairs. Anyway I'm serious about the stock parts! So just a little info for the future. USDM Integra Type R parts work for most of the brakes/rotors. 99-00 Civic Si for most of the engine parts (starter/alternator/belts, oil filters, radiator, etc), also uses 99-00 civic si axles lol. Hit me up if you need any information or help!

Welcome Congratulations bet there proper rare in the us! Licence plate is Awsome !

Haha thank you for the tag props, most unknowing people think it's peoples initials lol. It was between that one or "MPORTD" , as that tag can only have 6 digits, for imported lol.

Rojo I've had mine for a little over two years now (was imported in 2008), and yes they are all expensive in the us, generally from $12,000 up to near $20,000 which is bonkers. Probably can't tell from the picture I posted but I'm also supercharged thanks to a JRSC kit lol. I've done a good bit of mods but unfortunately several were done before I purchased it. Would really love a complete stock exhaust but they are near impossible to find in the states. So if you ever want to sell the stock exhaust.and intake, let me get first dibs lol

Thanks Everyone!
@ dropnotch, nice upgrades! wow 2008, if u would of waited another few years you definitely would of had trouble importing it. The NHTSA just put a ban on the type r like 2 years ago. Good thing i know someone who imports cars or i would of never been able to join the club. Well whenever i start buying stuff for the car i will definitely let you know.

Damn thats a sweet car! So no more EK9 allowed in the US? That sucks. I was really leaning towards trying to get one imported. There goes my dream right out the window.
