Help!!

just in the process of removing my interior in the ek and up to the carpet stage ive got most of it out but im at the bit were the carpet goes around the arbag control box behind the the center console below the dash it looks like i have to unplug the big yellow conector to be able to remove the carpet intact is it safe to unlug this with the battery disconected or will it set the air bags of or leave the srs light on the dash iluminated

No its fine mate, done mine the other week, always best to disconnect the battery anyway when doing things like that, but fire away man it'll be fine

Oops...I disconnected it while still having the battery connected (knew there was something I forgot) but nothing happened. Airbags are still in place etc just couldn't undo the earthing (I think) wire things from the screw thing the fastened into the floor, so I just cut the wires and reconnected them after. All is well
