:welcome:
hello everyone...i found that this website has all information about Honda performance car.

Anyway, at the moment Im driving a Ford Ka 1.3, fully comprehensive with churchill insurance. i payed 1500 GBP annuly, which i found it a bit expensive:angry:...but could probably due to the fact im not born in england.
however, i want to find out if that was a real price for what im driving.because if that was i wonder if i can insure a EK9.
i always loved EK9 ever since it was out..i loved it..i still think is the best performance car available!!
so here we go:

been in england since january 2005
im portuguese mix chinese :D
im 18 years old
been driving since 13 february 2008(when i was 17)
has got no NCB because i havent drove for 1 year yet...
i havent got any accidents
full uk driving license

i wonder how much would cost me to insure a EK9.would it be alot cheaper if i wait till i got 1 NCB?
will be very helpful if i can obtain information from all of you lot
thnx :D

im 28 and have one years no claims, one accident, driving for 4 years. and i pay £1200 ish.

most places wont touch you without AT LEAST 1 years no claims.not sure f the fact you are not from the uk will affect you or not. but your age and lack of NCB id say will make it difficult..and very costly to get insured.

With one years no claims when your 19 your proberbly looking at 2000+ it all depends insurance has so many varriables like where you live, where its kept overnight etc. When your 20 and with 2 years no claims it will prob be around 800-1300 you would be suprised how mich a year or two makes.

My 1.4 civic used to cost me 1800 a year when i was 18 then it dropped to 900 then 500 then i had an accident well my mrs opened my door into an oncoming car which lost my no claims and put it back to 1700 arggggggggg ! My quote for jan with 1 NCB is 1200 for a 1.8 vti civic or 600 for my 1.4.

Note i have allways had points 3 up untill a year ago, i have 9 now :) 3 will be coming off soon enough thank god !

But to summurise just wait till your 19 with 1 years NCB Andy is right your nationality shouldnt affect it to bad. Your NCB is the main factor then claims then points.

agree with ben totally...jsut wait...unless your loaded and money not a worry..but i guess the its not because you wouldnt be asking otherwise.lol

mine was down to £700 with 3 years no claims..had an accident and lost 2 years and it went up to £1200...grrr.
