Help with conversion choice.

Hi guys just a quick question (sorry if this has been covered a million times over alread - not having much luck with the search tool) I just wanted to know find out which is the easier/less time consuming conversion for my little ej9 1.4, the b18c or b16a, I presume the b16a but want advice, I don't want to get greedy with power I just want a little go and some vtec In my life. Got the car looking asteticly pleasing just need a new motor. Thank for any advice, it's appreciated.

Same job for both, you'll need to change exactly same parts ... Engine mounts, axles, ECU, etc ...
 
Are there not more complications with one than the other ? Ecu's. obd's? Exhausts, gear linkages, what kind of time does it take to do one, I have a W plate 2000 EJ9 currently with a D14 would I be better off buying a whole doner car or just and engine ? (MB6 Integra? Which one) taking my car off the road is possible but time is an issues, would rather have it complete sooner rarther than later due to work (is it possible to complete in a day/weekend) but of course I'd rarther have it done right first time. Is it better to build the engine up out of the car exhaust what not get it all prep'd and ready and then drop it in? Also I have a Scorpion alarm system which came fitted, would swapping the engine cause problems in that area? (Sorry bout the essay just really wanna get as much info as possible before I commit and I want to get it right first time making the best choice. :)
