hia guys iv got a 96 ej, i converted it to a b16a2 last year and now as im lookin for higher torque(n/a) im going to do a b20z/b build as i find you have to permanently thrash a b16 to get it going haha
Im doing the engine build myself as im a mechanic, i have no trouble with this side of it, its when it comes so the ecu/mapping side im getting unsure as people have different views on what id need? i understand ill need to raise fuel pressure and a few other things, can any1 tell me the most cost effective way of getting it running well? im not looking to break records on power either. i also aquired a s200 hondata the other day does anyone still map these?? many thanks :D

Prelude injectors ,think 92-95 are the 330cc peak and hold type plug and play, 96- are the 290cc saturated, will need the resistor box for those. Then just remap.

Will run on std b16/18 240cc's at 60psi fuel pressure but always better to get the correct injectors.

Any other info you might need should be in here.

ok cheers so i take it they are h22's ye? so you can just remap the stock p28? and it would run fine?? thanks for the help dude

Yea thats the h22a injectors. There are 2 different types.

Getting your P28 chipped and mapped once everything is up and running would be the best bet. The car will run on a standard b16 map with the bigger injectors or just at 60psi but not advisable for long. More just to get you to a mapper.

If you read through the whole of that thread you can't go far wrong.

sound nice 1, people say i need to get the ecu socketed and unlocked??? ye ive got myself a fuel pressure regulator so shouldnt have problems

to map a p28 it needs socketing. check out scott at h-tune.co.uk
