help stuttering vtec

hello

i was driving yesterday and the v-tech kicked in then started stuttering just wondering if anyone can help

Check engine light on? when was the last time you changed your spark plugs?

its VTEC.

i have the same problem, i have iridium 1 step colder sparkplugs and JDM hamp oil filter.. vtec kicks in very hard, than, its stuttering in 7000-9000rpm

is your clutch slipping? Do you notice RPMs going up but not the speed when this happens?

mine has brand new exedy clutch,, im braking it in now and ill see if the problem dissapears

hummm, was your flywheel resurfaced when you replaced the clutch?

It could also be an axle, had that issue on my D16y8, when it got above a certain higher RPM, 4k-5K rpm, the car would shudder. Worth looking into.

it isnt really a shudder, its like the car is losing power in 7000-9000rpm

Can someone explain what exactly the grounding wires do? And what they look like?
