Right This has got me scratching my head!!..

my passenger rear coilover wont sit at the same height as the drivers rear no matter what adjustment i set it to. there is about an inch of thread left on drivers side coilover and about a finger gap in arch, even if i put the passenger right at the end of the thread it will not go any lower and has a much larger arch gap...

they are ta technixs coilovers (i know not great but got them cheap)

Help!?! :please:

i would take them off asap that would ruien your handling so much, maybe thats the reason they were cheap.easy to get level just adjust the one thats sitting wrong in sequence with the other i.e maybe up or down half a inch on the good side untill you get them level. if it was me id just get a decent set and sell the other ones not worth the hassle and u wont experiance the cars full hadleing capabilities with running the cheap coilovers:nono::nono::nono:

Any ideas what it could be stopping it from going down? im going to get some decents ones as soon as i can afford them just wanted to see if anyone had any ideas why it would be doing it lol.. really frustrating. but if it comes to it i will raise the other side up :((

going cheep on coilovers is just wrong in sooooo many ways...

Sell them and even buy used d2s or save up till you can afford some decent ones.

Have you checked both your lower control arms are the correct way round? This could throw the ride height out.

I was going to suggest that. And complaining about not being loaded - I would rather get a used EK9 suspension or stay stock than cheap coilovers, you can cheap out on a lot of stuff but never on SUSPENSION, BRAKES and TYRES!!!! These things keep you on the road and essentially - alive!!!

^preach it brother!
Totally agree, unfortunately alot of people spend money on carbon plug covers and trinket type goodies when it's much better spent under the car.

Ye tyres and suspension are the most important by a long shot. People seem to think huge brakes will stop u even on budget tyres.

I adjust mine by placing them side by side then installing them..But that one side might be shot because you went cheap.

I would recommend Function Form, best bang for your buck! My boy has them & they feel pretty close to my Tein Flex's for half the price!!!!

Ditch the coilovers and get standard EK9
Would wipe the floor with cheap coilovers

I also think one of your lower control arms is fitted the wrong way around, bit it may be that one of the dampers is broken/not working correctly?
