Help needed please. Hi-Low Hid's

I own a 99 type r lads, an when i got it a year age it had Hi-Low Hid's. .
i spotted sunday while giving the car it weekly check over that 1 of me Hid's is going bright red. I'v been told it's gas in bulb gone. . I searched hi an low to get a bulb but no luck. Really hoping some1 ere knows a bit about them. an can help me. Racing Gear is the name on the power box's. Tryed google that an nothing any good came up. .

Just looked at your pics and I am not sure what kit you have but the bulbs I sell don't have the same plugs on them. I can supply new bulbs thats not a problem but getting them to fit your kit could be a problem.

Yes the fact that your light is going red means the bulb is going bad though.

How long have you had the kit. Most places offer some sort of warrenty on them try talking to the place you got them from.
 
might as wel give up now m8 lol i've got the exact same set up by looks of things but one of mine just stopped workin all together after 3months of lookin EVERYWHERE nothin apparently mine were from a company called SPLITFIRE JAPAN but they have updated all their products now an everythin is very expensive! oh an they all OEM 7K suppose2 one of brightest colours! had to go bak to standard bulbs for mot an HIDs have fuked me off for the moment but would u sell ur's or want2 buy my good bulb complete sealed unit wid 3wires an connectors???

You say they have raised there prices now. What was the cost of these kits to start with if you dont mind me asking.

I have no idea m8 def bought an fitted in japan though but if u read i sed they have changed their products ie none same as these plus EVERYTHING ie splitfire japan is expensive look like good products but pricey!!
 
Thanks very much for ur help mate. . if u could get a few pics foe ur bulb up i might just hav an interest in buying it. . wat sort of money on it?? wanna make sure it'll be the same as my ther bulb 2 :)
 
might be slightly different i've got similar holder too but ant pictured them but the bulbs are the pop in/out high/low amazin lights wen they both worked pure white!!

2 replacement bulbs are 100 euros for most kits.a whole new kit is 180 and can be got for 100 delivered on ebay so just get a new kit with warranty etc and job done.
 
Thats a telescopic type hi/lo bulb. It changes the light beam by moving the bulb up & down. That is very common here in our place and very cheap too but im not sure about the sockets if it'll fit.
 
I do Bixenon's for £100 delivered. Sold to many members on here and have no issues with them. Let me know if you want a set.
