Help Needed ? Changing E.C.U?

Hi im after gettin an uprated tuned ecu and like the rest its just plug and play but before i remove my normal ecu is there precautions i should take when swapping them around like disconnect battery etc..? help needed thanks!!

Always disconnect the battery when working on the electrics.. ECU should just be plug and play...

I've swapped my ECM in and out with battery connected without problems many times. You should be fine as long as key it out of ignition. Make sure new ECM is the same diagnostic as the one being removed or have the correct conversion harness for complete plug and play status.
