***HElP*** Failed MOT

Im pretty sure thats not a fail though. I have done the exact same thing on mine, 2 mot stations have told me its fine as long as you have removed all the power steering system such as pump,belt,lines ect
I would question them on why they have actually failed, as its not like its not work, because it isnt there. Much like if you remove your rear window wiper or fog lights.

thats a joke, that shouldnt fail, i hate the mot/nct its just a money racket
i know a few cars with this done that passed the nct down here anyway

yip said to me its no good and i either have to install all my powersteering or get a manual rack as he says he could tell it was done due to the effort he needed to turn wheels,i asked him why theres a problem with it since its been looped and greased and he said that it can hydrolock or something. he said it could turn one way and when i go to turn the other way it could lock due to air or something

there very strict now,anything at all in the ballymena branch and your failed,had a incline they wouldnt pass me because of it but ill just have to source one

Did you have to fit the EG/DC2 subframe to use this or will it work with the EK subframe?
