ok i have to replace the boot on my drivers side axle i pulled the axle out of the spindle but the inside part that connects to the intermediate shaft and housing is stuck...the easy way out would to pull the 3 bolts that hold the intermediate shaft up that connect to the block out and pull it down as one assembly ...but two of the bolts are also stuck ..... i need help is there any suggestions im all ears there has to be an easy way lol :thanks:

the 3 bolts on the intermediate shaft are usually VERY tight, try using some PB blaster on them, it works VERY good.

The "easy" way. Take a 10ml cyringe and splash the bolts with gasoline (or diesel). Will be easier to loosen the bolts. Might wanna try something like WD40

ill give that a try the 3 bolts are way hard to get any leverage on...i also read on another forum if u stick a 23 or 24m socket in between the intermediate shaft and the axle and hammer it in it might be enough to pop it out ...well im goin back out to my garage and give it a shot cant wait to get it out so i can throw it down the street with anger lol

i went out to my garage and stuck in a 23mm socket sideways in between the gap from the axle and the intermediate shaft and hammered it in and it popped out on the first swing lol :D
