i got to college and my car wont start again.
no electrics!
cant turn my lights on or anything.
no noises when i try to start

any suggestions apart from waiting for RAC

Battery gone dead probably if nothing is working. check your battery terminals to make sure one hasnt come loose

the battery is less than 6 months old, and i have already checked and there all tight.

reckon it could be the earths?

Well is there a chance you left something on, like headlights etc? Cause that will run the battery down regardless of its age. Is anything in the car working? Can you see the red lights on the dash slightly lit when you turn the key on?

nothing got left on.. it happened last night got the rac out and they said nothing was wrong.
there are no lights on the dash board

could it be my hids?

Well how did they get it back running last night? They cant turn around and say nothing is wrong if your car's electrics are not working. It sounds to me like a dead battery, something must be draining it, perhaps the HID's could be related to the problem

they just jump started it but put the negative on the steering pump i think.
im going to ring up honda and book it for a service and tell them the problem.

The battery light would stay on if the alternator wasnt charging, You can check it with a volt meter, with the car running you should read roughly 14-15 volts if the alternator is ok.

I work for the RAC in Reading area let me know, If you can not find the problem

just got home from collegee after rac came AGAIN.
he said that i need to replace my earths and get another one because im running speakers and HIDS
got a service on thursday so ill get honda to do it

Something has to be draining it for it to keep going out. If the batt is only 6 months old and RAC say its still good. You must have a draw on the system. HIDs dont need any extra grounds he's full of it. They only pull 12 to 14 volts at max. If you have a bad ground that could be causing some problems though. But as said above get the alt checked make sure its charging around 14.1 volts. Could also be your volt regulator maybe stuck open. This would let it charge fine but after you shut the car off it will stay open and drain the batt.

it was nothing,
it was the earths,
my mate that did the hids used an original earth and didnt tighten it up properly so it was tempremental.
i forgot to look at it.
tightened it up and its been fine since
getting them all replaced tomorrow as there all a bit manky

Do you have an amp ? If so do you have the remote connected properly ? I had a mate who had a similar problem and all along it was coz his amp was allways on.

Just a thought !
