Hello everyone, i have recently sold my old mitsubishi colt here;

and just picked a nice white EK4 to have in its place, i dont have any pics of it at the moment becuse its bit of a **** heap at the moment lol :((

and what a first impression, going from 1.6 SOHC to DOHC VTEC is very noticable, and how long does it take for the novelty of the VTEC sound to wear off cos my current fuel consumption is killing me, but definately worth it

but i do have lots of plans for it, going down the standard ek9 look route first, get everything colorcoded in white, some nice break discs, this whale shlong induction kit ive head so much about :D aswell as general engine bay tidying and exhaust and then hopefully some uprated cams and gears etc for some extra power, then get it dynod and see if its been worth while haha, not had a honda before so im sure ill have lots of questions

first one being as the body work is in piss poor condition i will be getting lots repainted, and i was wondering are the EK4's the same championship white as the EK9's or is it a different paint code? cheers guys

and ill get some pics up asap as soon as she's looking respectable!

Another colt convert on here!
First of all I believe EK4s didn't come in C/W. But NH-O is the paint code for it if you need it.

you were on coltuk too werent you? i remember you having the black borg before getting the ek9
 
yeah, definately, are there many other civic owners in our neck of the woods?
 
awesome, i was just having a look around on different websites and there is sooo much more stuff for civics then colts, finding parts was a nightmare now spoilt for choice haha :bow:
 
Hello and welcome! The other EK/EJ series are frost white not championship white. Championship white is only available on Type R's. Got some more pictures of your colt?
 
welcome greedo! My mates got a colt. t reg 1.6 glx. Do they do coilovers for that model? coz hes be hunting for them ages. But he cant find anything. Cheers.

and yeah they make coilover for colts, not many though, tein do although you have to wait 7 months for them to come from japan, and BC do so do ISC, tell him to get on coltuk.org and someone on there will point him in the right direction, also theres sometimes a pair going second hand!
