Hello everyone,

Bought a 1996 VTEC more door as a track car a few months ago, first ever Honda but I've had a few Jap cars in the past.

Had two sessions in the car at Knockhill and it went really well, car now getting stripped out for next season, joined the forum hoping to learn how to make the old slipper go faster

Here is the spec list from when it was advertised :

Kinda stuck as to what to do/where to go next, hence why we started stripping it out, would really like to get some cams in there, along with the other ecu that makes the vtec come in at 4500 rpm but up here in the barren wastelands of Fife Im not sure where to look for Honda tuners - any pointers appreciated

Apart from that Im into vw's, footy, indie music and having a laugh with my kids

Thanks for saying hello, here is a few pictures of the old slipper.

Bought it from a guy who was using it for hillclimbs, its the rather less attractive 4 dr or more door version, think that means its an ek4 then ? didn't buy it for looks though sadly those are rover alloys on it

Dunsy - I go to the hot hatch sunday's, managed october and november but missed the one at the weekend just past, lot better organized from when I was doing it back in the late 90's when it was a free for all and you hardly got any sessions.

Carpet and roof lining coming out next, then plate over the sunroof
