Hello everyone, one of my friends from civicsportsclub.net told me about this site. I bought my 1998 ek-9 in march but it only arrived 2 weeks ago, the wait has been killing me but it is finally here :D here are a few pics of it after i cleaned all the grease off the ship from it. Hope you like them. jon

Thanks jewel, yeah that is my gt in the background. I will be sad to see her go because it is such a fun car to drive but bring on the vtec lol. I will post some interior pics and engine bay pics when i get a chance to clean them. Been busy the last few weekends, JAE,TOTB, and putting the gt on the japnortheast stand at the sunderland motorshow on saturday, so hopefully i will be able to finish cleaning the civic on sunday. Your ek-9 looks clean to mate, bet you cant wait for it to arrive?
 
No mate, i was trying to get the car delivered to newcastle but the shipping in japan has been slow and not many ships have been coming to newcastle. So in the end i settled for southampton and got it delivered cost an extra £220 + vat :( still wont be on the road for a while though as the standard exhaust was stolen on the way over here so i have to find another one before i can get it esva'd.
 
oohh thats nasty hope the import company took care of that for you?

Thanks everyone, yeah it was deffo worth the wait, it is just killing me not being able to get it on the road yet! The only mods the car has is a full HKS exhaust, it sounds awsome when it comes on vtec lol. No the import company didn't take care of me at all, my standard exhaust which was in the car never made it and when i told them they said there was nothing they could do. Even though i have pics of the exhaust in the car!!!
