Heading to Manchester - UFC105

So me and one of the lads is heading over on Saturday to go to UFC105

Just wondering if anyone knows Manchester well, anywhere they would reccommend going? Anywhere to stay away from?

I'm a big fan of UFC, Couture Vs Vera and Bisping vs Kang is gonna be a cracker...

Not really familiar with Manchester as i have only been twice, however ICEMAN on here is a local, i think.

tbh, id just leave your car parked at men and after just follow croud as men is on edge (like a sveral hundred yards) of city centre, lots of little individual areas of bars and clubs, nearest to men is like couple hundred yards away. place called printworks, huge old mill type building fully converted with several bars and couple clubs, cinema and several places to eat half decent food

how long you stayin for and what you lookin to do ? ie just get **** faced or sight seein etc ?

im outta town that that day but maybe others on here who might meet up

TBH man, just going over on the piss. Not taking the car or anything.

Looking for a good spot for after it, maybe a bit of a student atmosphere, cheap drinks.
