Since I put the new engine in,it's showing up the bad handling haha. The coilovers look like very old 'eBay specials' and they are rock solid to the point doing 60-70 on a back road is uncomfortable.

I'm looking to buy a new set,and seen as I'm an apprentice on crapoy wage still I'm going to get them on finance from demon tweeks.

So I was wondering if anyone has owned/used/experienced any of these coilovers.

AP suspension coilovers (fixed damping)

Avo GTZ coilovers (adjustable damping)

Weitec hicon GT coilovers (fixed damping)

Kw variant 1 coilovers (fixed damping)

Weitec hicon TX coilovers (fixed damping)

Kw variant 2 coilovers (adjustable damping, very expensive though!)

Ive owned a set of KW V2's and they were excellent, not too harsh for road and really good on track

good prices from demon tweeks, they will do you a better price than the price listed too but not sure if they will do a nice price AND the finance option...

I believe KW make the Weitec stuff...but dont quote me on this

I have to say Meister R is also worth a shout if youre on a budget and want a really well made adjustable unit

Thanks for the insight mate! I'm tempted by the avo GTZ because its middle of the price range and has adjustable damping. There 660. The kw v2 are like 1080,that's alot of money! Haha

avo's have a reputation of leaking and dont last as long as other brands had a set of KW's before, they where great as you say cost mega £££ as said above meister r's are good on a budget

Go onto driftworks

HSD coilovers are very good for the money :) know a few people who run them and cannot fault them, probably what I will buy to be honest :nice:
