ok so i have a ej6 and im in the process of completely beefing up the suspension.. i have not yet purchased a rear sub frame brace ... now i know everyone usually says to go with the ASR setup .... i was jus wondering if anyone has tried these:
Function7 Rear Brace for 96-00 Honda Civic - JHPUSA


ALSO, if you have pics of any sort please post .. i really like the look of them but at the same time i will sacrifice for performance .
 
The price is very similar to the ASR and looks very similar in function (the ARB bolts straight onto it) so I supose it's don't to personal preference I think accessory zone has done a deal on the ASR with and anti roll bar for 280 iirc but not sure if it was a limited offer group buy thing I can't remember,

What do you mean by sacrifice performance?

well i really wanna know if they hold up as the ASR do .. i know the ASR have got a name for themselves and as far as suspension goes its an upgrade/performance part....

i jus wanna make sure these will hold up cuz they are sexy as f&#k lol .. but i mean sacrifice the looks for asr durability .. sorry if i over explain things lol
 
tbh i would choose function 7 over ASR any day!

f7 is an amazing company that make amazing products!
 
As mentioned, the quality control of F7 products is impressive

But is it just me or does their subframe brace look a bit tacky?

ASR is a proven product, plenty of people use them with great avail, I would favour the ASR :)

yea tama666 has me convinced on getting the asr brace and sway bar
 
yea deff think about getting this setup .. i would give an offer but im in US

YES SIR lol .. I typed it into google images and the showed an rsx (I think) with the brace and LCA's .. Had to admit .. I was inspired by that pic lol but if asr does the same for less then why not go with asr lol
 
F7 vs ASR. Just one look under the car and the F7 bling wins! But if johnny law is following you and sees this, it may be the one reason to pull you over to take a more detailed audit of your car, know what I mean?

In California its hard to not get pulled over by local law enforcement. Heck its hard to even tint windows without getting the law involved.

Its not that one is better than the other, its about how your going to be using it. For "show", sleeper look, all out performance or just trying to keep it on the road. So plan everything out, pick your path and get on with it. :)
