I got some hardrace camber arms and meister r coilovers for the teg but now that everything is fitted the top part of the camber arm hits the strut top when i go over a big bump (on compression), which makes a very loud bang noise :( iv tried adjusting the rebound and the height but still does the same.

Anyone got any advice on how to stop this or will i have to go back to standard camber arms :(

thanks

*update on page 2 - problem solved :)*

Try stiffening the compression, not rebound. If they are hitting you are too low IMO.

iv tried that too but maybe requires a bit more? getting worried to drive it cause dont want it to break something :(

Its not that low either, its actually higher than it was before

Skunk2 talks about this problem in their camber kit video.

This is why they designed the Pro Series range.

I have hardrace camber arms on my ek track car with no problems, the car is quite low but not slammed and running BC coilovers

IMO you need to raise the car slightly and stiffen at the front

Ill try stiffening the front up and its really not that low tbh, if it dont work ill just be selling these and trying something else or go back to oem.

thanks for the reply's

I'm using these on my EK9 with Spoon springs & oem shocks with -1.5 camber with no issues. If they're hitting the top you'll have to raise your ride height.

was thinking about getting a set of these, but now i am not! Is there a set of camber arms out there that are actually safe and reliable? Havent seen any yet...... apart from OEM!

Might just buy new OEM ones to be safe!

Iv tried stiffining and adjusting the height and still they are doing the same although much less. Id suspect that if i was to put it to standard height then these would be fine but thats not what i want to do. Iv emailed the place where i got these and hopfuly get a responce and hopefuly something sorted.

Looks like ill be going to oem but im very dissapointed with hardrace stuff :( You would have thought they would have done their research on all this but obiouviously not!

That doesnt sound good, i havent adjusted my ride height yet.

Im using BC Racing coilovers and hardrace camber arms on my DC2

I just recently fitted the skunk2 pro plus front arms and have no clearance issues and I'm lowered quite abit and at -2.5, only thing to note is the actual box section is close to the wing when traveling but doesn't touch so I guess that's okay

Yeah its always going to be close, but thats the difference with the Skunk2 Pro Series, they have just enough extra clearance.

Thought id update this as i think iv resolved my issue with these. I jave been in contact with funky power and they contacted hardrace, they have now re designed these arms to solve this issue.

The new ones are getting sent out to me so ill update this again once iv fitted them but i have to say funky power have been excellent with their service and have been very quick to try and solve this problem.

Couldnt really ask for a better outcome :nice:

Let us know when they fitted if its fixed :run:

Thats good to know, are you in touch with hardrace directly or via funkypower?
