h22 in ej9

can someone please tell the the advantages and disadvantages of a h22 conversion in my civic over a b16/18
 
ahh okay jus ive found a full conversion for 900 including the drive shafts and ecu etc. whats the power like if it were to be turboed. would there be much gain over a b seriese turbo?
 
to be honest there all reliable as each other most important thing if you are going to turbo is choose your components carfullyand you should have no problem, with the H22 the engine produces alot more torque then the B16/18.
 
as said h22 harder got...so replacement part could become hassle..h22 by far best old series vtec to convert..it would be what i would go for also...

i wouldnt say its the best vtec engine but its your own personal opinion where as the K series weither its 20a/24 is on a different level.
 
is it like the k seriese were the engine loom has to be adapted or would the loom pklug straight into my 2000 ej9?
 
Why not try B20vtec?
B20 bottom end £300
B16 head complete £200
VTEC conversion kit £200
P28 chipped £150
Minimum 170bhp 160torque!!
