Hey guys, just a quick picture of our latest creation.

While Jons teg is away with the metal fabricator still we took on this cheeky project.

More pics after but 1st can you guess what car is it :naughty::naughty:

Yep its a cobra (rep) Not a Great one but we done our best with it, TBH most fibre glass panels are never straight away.

Quite a few people though it was a TVR lol

but ye i mean its awesome to have painted it, but the shape is so awkward through not having a roof, it put us off our usual painting routine where we start on the roof, down the rear quarter etc etc with this we had to work out the best way to paint it.

Saturday we got it primed up with a guide coat.

Then flattened it all down, degresed it and tacked it.

Quick dust coat on.

Then after 2nd full coat of paint

Yep will get some tomorrow or thursday when we buff it hopefuly some sunny pics to show the true depth of the colour.

My mates grandad drove a coupe version of these on the First motorways in britain... He got up to 185 mph to test it out and see what it would do...The police and government didn't like this so In fact that is the reason we have speed limit in this country.. All due to my mates grandad Gentlemen Jack he was known as..

hehe

Im my eyes it has the wrong engine in it :( but who knows we might be able to persuade the owner into something else.

ATM its running a 2lt pinto on twin webbers.

Rough as hell, but sounds so good.

Very nice car and amazing paint job. But it should have no less than a V8 in it
