Green paint next to the dizzy?

I don't know if this has been covered before, I tried searching and nothing came up.


Does any on know why I have green paint on the head just behind the dizzy?

I heard today it had something to do with the best heads on the line got this marking?

A green marker was placed on some heads on the production line, these heads would then go on to become Tyre R heads. It is only type r (b16b,b18c) heads that have this mark, mine still has a very faint patch of green.

Story is something like that anyway...
