thats a good going car, what fd is he running? is a 4.9 that close?
 
Id reckon thats a close MFactory 3/4/5 ( the most aggressive street version) on a standard 4.4.. Has good power too by the sounds of it
 
seems to fly through the gears..Darragh's probably right

but if it was a 4.4 fd wouldn't the revs drop a lot more than it sounds like they are? I thought maybe a 4.9 fd? seemed to just tear through gear 1.

Final drive doesnt change the rev drop , just the max gear speeds.

Just read the description and it has ''230hp 155ft/lb'' , that why 1st goes quickly ..!

:angry2 of course! What am I thinking, had a Saxo with a longer final drive, 120mph limiter in 5th. lol.

Either way this is a very sharp motor and he's not afraid of the gears!!!
