as title states wondering what rust treatment/romoval stuff is good to use for the underside of a car, member seeing fellas using stuff on a build up but for the life of me i cant member which one lol, basically looking stuff that will def romove and convert rust. tried the kurust stuff from halfords but was no good at all so after something stronger or just better in genural.any help or links would be great thanks:bow:

You can buy from Halfords (lol) some rust treatment cream, it's called Krust I belive and is made by Hammerite.
It's ok stuff, but nothing will ever get rid of rust. The only way to get rid of rust is to grind it away and replace.

Totaly agree with that!:nice:

you'll spend more time and effort trying to cover the rust up. if its anything more than surface rust get it cut out before it gets worse

yea the krust stuff is the one i was talking about was no good at all and its only surface rust most i can grind off buy its the the places i cant really work at or get to i want the stuff for mainly

Get the underseal with added Waxoyl. I wouldn't bother just Waxoyling it in my opinion, I just did mine with it and I think I'll redo it with underseal in a few more months because, though I'm sure it's fine, the little layer of oil doesn't inspire as much confidence as the black coating my brother's EK9 has.

If you use underseal, the black paint-like stuff, then it lasts for ages and it's a pretty simple job to just lie under your car and check that nothing has been chipped away every few months after it's been applied. You could always Waxoyl over the top of it like I'm going to do for added protection.
