Glasgow EK4

do the calipers bolt straight onto ek4 suspension leg tho?
and does anyone know if you can buy a 300mm disc in 4x100?

Yes the calipers fit
To do this, you need to use EP3 discs, redrilled to 4x100. The caliper will need a pair of 0.75mm shims between the knuckle and caliper carrier to get the caliper central on the disc, otherwise you can shave the inside of the carrier to get the clearance.

How did those calipers fit under 15's ? Looks amazing with the brakes filling the wheels so much.

To get under standard Honda alloys, alot of grinding and spacers no doubt.
I had to grind mine to get under 15" OZ supperleggeras and they have alot more room than stock alloys.

Awesome brakes though:dance:

Haha im glad yous know so much about it because i just know there ep3 breaks and thats about it. when it comes to fitting them i have no idea! cheers for the input lads!

Exactly this.

Now two EK's I know of are rocking in this set up :) i put a pic up on instagram and they are mad tight for space. Unique set up :)

yeh so took the civic out a blast up the back roads since it was a nice day and got a bit carried away... thanks to a hidden hill on a long straight i smashed the bottom of my car off the ground! not had it up on the ramp but dont think its too bad, got a dent in the centre section but yet to see what else!

some pretty deep scrapes!

also got a little video of vtec through a tunnel! running a mugen twip loop with 2.5" straight through, adjustable decat and spoon lower collector.

Ouch that looks like it hurt the road lol

How do these ep3 brakes compare to 282 spoon/willwoods guys?

i'm pretty sure i've vtec'd through that tunnel before.

is it on the old a77 near mearnskirk?

My bro has 285mm willwoods on his Starlet, they are pretty even stevens really to me, but the last time he took my car to Knocky he said mine was better!
If you do use them, get a 1" master cylinder aswell.

Murray

been in my mates jordan with the spoon breaks and they seemed pretty good but i havent driven it so cant compare!

eventually starting to earn a bit of money so have a few plans for the vti over the winter time!

Looks great with those massive brakes behind the wheels! Will have to look into an ep3 set up :)
