Gear Crunch

Just tonight i got a crunch when i changed down from 5th to 3rd, not in a harsh way, just slowing down, anybody else get this problem and what can it be?

Do you hear the "crunch" everytime you shift to 3rd from any gear? please add more info so we can help you

Cheers, well i think it was changing into 3rd every time but cant remember if it was from any gear, ill drive it today and see, it wasnt doing it every time though

mine does it at high rpm from 3rd to 4th, try changin the gearbox oil and see if that cures it if not, box out.
