gear box/leaver rattle

as the title said. i have a funny rattle coming from my gear box/leaver. i have a double bend short shift on it and when i am just driving along i have a rattle coming from the gear stick but if i put my hand on it, it stops.

any ideas guys on how to sort it

Rubber bushes ?

Could be a slightly loose bolt that clamps the lever to the linkage. My lever used to catch on my exhaust slightly til I bent the mounts.

thanks guys. ill get it on a ramp on the holidays and tighten up all the bolts and check mounts

short shifters are actually longer than normal shifters, mine used to hit the exhaust all the time
