I've seen this in person and it is showroom condition, who ever is in the market for an ek9 this has got to be one of the best out there.

Bit pricey for a pre facelift. There's a monster unit one with trottle bodies for 6500
 
very cool car but sadly you'll never get near the asking price for it in todays climate :((

Yea its a shame, because the car is easily worth the price, Offers are considered!

Any service history?

Is it strokered? Torque figure seems high for a 1600 without bodies..

Yes is it stroked with a Spoon 1.8 Crank found in the stroker kit

Just got off the Phone with Imran;

New price is now at £6500 NO OFFERS
If there is no interest then we have spoke about breaking the car, but please for now no spam on first dibs on parts, i will let you know if parts become available.

Managed to get down and have a look at this today - with the possible intention of getting another EK9.

First impressions were good, the paint work really is in excellent condition with no swirl marks and no noticeable miss-aligned panels, just the odd minor dent - which should be expected for a car of this age.

The engine bay is the same - all looks very fresh and hardly used. When first started it seemed to hunt slightly, but once warm settled down fine - I was told this is due to the fuel ratio.. The car was not driven, as it was hammering it down outside and I insisted it wasn't necessary at this point as i've got a few other cars to look at first.

Managed to get underneath and again its quite clean with it been undersealed, however there is the odd occassion of rust, again nothing major given its age.

Imran (the owner) is very passionate about the car and you can tell he's a real enthusiast, who is very welcoming and was more than happy to answer any questions I had regarding the car.

Overall it seems a cracking car for the money, however nothing is too cheap in the market today it seems with a lot of high end cars up for sale for a lot less than they were worth a year ago!

This is a non biast review - just to help Imran and any potential buyers looking at this car.
