Hi guys/girls,

As some of you know i was to get my camber set up last week, went to the geommetry specialists to get it done, and they said i dont have rear camber adjusts (previous owner told me the car has front and rear camber arms

Ok lets get to the point, was driving from central London on Tuesday, hit the biggest pot hole ever, it buckled my so bad that it lost air in the tyre and dented the rim and cracked the rim.

At the moment i am running my OEM EK9 wheels (15") upfront on standard nuts and my 16" Rota Fighters on the rear with aftermarket nuts.

When i use the accelerator with force or when im at just say 20 mph plus, let go of the accelator then accelerator the front end feels floaty and goes left to right and ALL OVER the place.

What is wrong with my car? Is the tracking? Or the fact that i have 15"s upfront and 16s on the back.

Please advise :(

i would say your tracking is well out mate but i would get it jacked up and make sure there is no play at the front

So best thing to do is get the 16" wheel refurbed....run all 16" and then get the tracking done from any decent garage?

Cheers mate.

yeah deffinately , i would jack it up and have a look make sure no damage has been caused to suspension components first

i would get the whole front geo checked out once you have a sorted wheel on there

print out of camber/castor/toe will tell you if anything has bveen damaged, if it was enough to crack a wheel then it's enough to damage a suspension arm

yup, need to have your car on four wheels that are the same to get the alignment done. also good to get the front end checked over and make sure you've not damaged any of the suspension components. :((

Not driving going to drive the car at the moment as im getting the train to work, will jack up the car on Saturday and check properly if anything is damaged.

If it is all aright, will get my whole alignment done to OEM EK9 spec.

If anything is damaged will replace then get the alignment done.

Cheers guys...appreciate it....

Right guys, a little update on this. Jacked my car up last night, taking the front 2 wheels off. Spend a good half an hour checking for coilover leaks and general suspension damaged components. The car seems to be fine, a thing i did decide to do was replaced my front 2 tyres on my 15s up front to have the same size as my rears 16s. The car drives pretty straight and as normal :)

Will be getting the whole alignment done once i get the damaged 16 sorted.

Cheers for the help guys....
