Flat Battery?

Not been home in a few weeks, Mrs last started the car about 10 days ago... battery is completely Flat as of 10 minutes ago (headlights won't even come on)

If I jump it, it should recharge fully and be fine am I right?

No you should take it off and give it a full charge really. Mine died last week and after a full charge is fine. However it's been low for a while and I never bothered, hence it finally died.

I had my car sitting for 4 months so naturally the battery died. I just jump started it, left it running for ten minutes then took it for a drive round my estate. Been driving it regularly (at least 2-3 times a week) and its been fine for over a year.

Yes, it does work sometimes but it is a lot better to charge it up properly, the alternator is there to keep it topped not to charge it up, not charging it up properly will just shorten its overall life.

I jumped it and ran it for 10 mins before taking it a quick drive, all seems to be good at the mo!
