first mods to a ctr!!?


I personally would never disrespect my EK9 and put a turbo on it. I have owned 2 turbo charged cars and they were headaches. TOO sensitive and not consistent. type-R engines are made to be normally aspirated. If u do it right you can get a type-R enging to do 13's for u on the 1/4 mile EASY.

man i would call turboing an ek 9 as doing it a HUGE favor because they are not fast cars,simple as that

yes there a great engine and lovely looking but they are nothing too quick which is why im turboing mine also,as blinx said you could spend 10k on your n/a and it will be never as quick as a turboed type r

also the 2 turbo cars you claim to have owned must not of been anything special otherwise you would understand where im coming from

I KNOW OF AND HAVE DRIVEN N/A ASPIRATED TYPE-Rs WITH NO MORE UPGRADES THAN TURBO CHARGED CARS THAT HAVE BEATEN TURBO CHARGED VEHICLES SILLY. WITH NOTHING MORE THAN A HEADER, ECU, INTAKE AND PERFORMANCE CLUTCH. 13.2 EASY AND I HAVE SEEN IT HAPPEN MORE THAN ONCE. I prefer n/a for civic... tho i NOT saying they r faster. Just prefer to keep n/a engine n/a & if i want a turbo i would buy origanally turbo car..! :)

Unfortunetly Honda dont believe much on turbos, only fitting them on their Diesel engines:angry:

but who knows...mine not being an ek9 but an ek4 i might some day change idea and decide on boosting it...:lol:

dude stop yelling, why are you taking this so personally? its just the interweb man. 13.2 with i/h/e?? never seen that unless your talking about in a liteweight eg6. we all know what a vtec can do, i have friends with built na vtecs one with a 2.6L k24 making 300 na whp and another making 236whp with a k20 and it just dosent impress me, the 300whp one is insane but guess what it cost him over $15,000. you keep saying other people cant handle your opinion but it seems to be the other way around.

because at the end of the day when i turbo my ek9(fully forged eetc etc) it will be so much faster than yours,i guess that makes you jealous?i pity you.........
