rite lads i got my first proper drive in the civic tonight:clap:
first of all this car handles BETTER on the road and twistys than my last car ( 320bhp Celica gt4,4wd,trd coilovers,and struts ). <<----and that handled like a dream!! definatly the best handling car ive owned by far!my ek9 has tein coilovers and cusco front and rear struts is probly the reason why:nice:
need to get a fidanza on there big time tho,and im loving the 9k rpm limiter:lol: needs more power though so the engine mods will start ASAP!!
i am definatly keeping this car for a long time,love it
 
hi mate yeah ek9's rule ,i ve had a couple of st205's in the past,they are big cars compared to the 9, ek's are far cheaper to run aswell and much more fun!:woot:
 
yea lad exactly the same as me, i act got a drive in my old gt4 today and nearly bined her at the first corner lol

like ur ek9 mine has tein coilovers and my gt4 had ky shocks and springs but ur so right in sayin the ek9 wud have it for lunch on a track
 
would have 95% of the cars ive driven round a track!!just happy the handling is spot on so i can focus on more power and big brakes!! although at the minute it doesnt hang around either!!
 
hehe... glad you had a good drive!
personally, i cant get enough of the grip it has (stock suspension)) and i love the way the back kicks out when cornering :)

When I drove my car at the track for the first time, I was scared because of the back cornering exit behavior :nerv:
 
congrats on the purchase mate - so if you had to choose all over again......gt4 or ek9?

ah the 320 horses powering the celica meant that is was a fast enjoyable drive,i miss the instant acceleration(my last 2 cars were high powered turboes) but the sound of vtec (j's induction/spoon exhaust) is deadly!but i definatly reckon my ek9 would have it round the track,so solid on the road and top handling!

Love throwing it into a corner, back end out then it bites and on to the next, my turbo will be going before crimbo to fund some goodies for the 9..
