Heya people,

I thought I would share some photos from a recent shoot I did of my car and one of our rental Caterhams.

A true pair of drivers cars as far as I'm concerned ;)

The style used to carry out this shoot was strobist, the use of off camera flashes usually triggered by remote triggers.

The setting was pitch black, and only lit when I needed it to be.
The strobes used were:
Nikon SB24 flash
Canon 130ex mk1
Triggered by ebay triggers.

Anyway on with the pics, any feedback is good feedback :)

Hehe was wondering if anyone on here was going to comment on the cold revving to get the ghost image.... naughty me :) the ITR dc2 boys have picked up on it straight away... oh well... its all for the art of photography lol :D
 
yeah, it was simply a quick blip of the throttle to achieve that.
Yep slow shutter speed, right f stop to get all the clocks clear, a flash to my right to light it up (as the barn was pitch black), and thats about it :) That picture is pretty much straight off the camera, slight boost to contrast and that is all.
 
Thank you IntermaN, glad you like my style :) I often de saturate my pics a lot, I use that style a lot in my work :D

Thanks Neil :D yeah I would love to do some pics of your ek4 buddy :) just need some good weather... hard thing to get at the moment :(

Itr_hatch - haha as far as I know its a ukdm standard cluster lol :D and there is no way in hell it'd get to 160mph hehe, not even on a ski slope :D
 
we have to meet up buddy and do take some pics of our motors! specially as you live 20 mins away :) great pics btw
