Advertising on behalf or my best friend Keith who has this car, as he doesn't go on Honda forums but I thaught a Honda enthusiast would appreciate this or a ek9 owner wishing to change might be interested as its a rare example.
Honda Civic Type R (AC) 2004

Extras: Front Fog Lights, Air Conditioning, Pollen Filters, Honda Type R Mats
Current Mileage: 32649
Mileage at MOT: 2007: 24360 / 2008:26667 / 2009:28438 /2010:30341 / 2011:31954 / 2012:32464
I bought my Type R on the 01/04/2004 from Dixon Honda in Doncaster and have covered only 32649 miles to date, the reason for the low mileage is that I got a company car a few months after taking ownership of the Civic and thought I may as well keep it as a second car for a while, plus it held a certain amount of sentimental value to me.
I have all the first years petrol receipts and mileage showing the Mpg whilst running it in and have all the service records and MOT certificates / paperwork in a folder. All invoices for parts and warranty work are also included in the folder.
I have recently replaced all the brake disks and pads with genuine Honda OE parts and have replaced the tired battery with a genuine Honda OE part, all documentation is in the folder.
The original receipts and PDI documents are also included along with the original radio key card. I am in possession of both remote controls and keys, the spare one has never been used and looks brand new.
I am selling it as it is not really financially viable to keep it any more. I pay loads of tax for the company car/fuel and can’t justify spending the money on all the expenses that come with running a second car.
Interior:
The inside is immaculate including the carpet/mats and seats. There is not a single mark on the roof lining. All the equipment works 100%.
Exterior:
The paint work is very good for the age with some small (touched up) stone chips on the bonnet and a very small indent on the rear quarter. All the wheels are OK however two of them have some scratches on the edge from the daemon kerb.
Tyres:
The front tyres are almost new with 5.5mm on the them and the reartyres are about 50% worn with 3.5mm on them all are OE spec. Bridgestone Potenza RE04 205/45 R17W
Brakes:
All the disks and pads were changed at 32500 miles with Honda OE parts.
Engine:
The engine and gearbox is 100% you will struggle to find a better example anywhere for sure, I got the garage to do an early oil change at 6000 miles to ensure that the oil was fresh after running in. I used Mobil 1 fully synthetic for all the oil changes. I have just fitted a new Honda battery on 23/11/2012 as I thought the old one may be getting a bit tired.
