Exhaust Size

Hi

Im getting a custom 2.5" exhaust system made... the problem is that i want to use the spoon N1 back box, but iv been told that cause the size is 2.38 i rather go for a 2.25" as the backbox will restrict it a little?

What do you think guys?

Personally I'd say...if you're getting a custom set up made you might as well keep the whole thing custom. If you want your back box to look like the N1 then see if the shop will make it up for you but personally I'd keep it all custom :nice:

Or if you're wanting the Spoon tag...I think egshane on here is selling his Spoon N1 and b-pipe :nice:

Im getting the system made for my non honda car (Micra SR20), so if use the my own backbox it will be much cheaper
 
Ah right...sorry lol just presumed it was for a Honda lol

I know it seems like sacrilige but could possibly cut off the pipe entering the N1, rebore the hole and then mate up to the custom pipe is the only way I can see it being done apart from using a smaller diameter pipe
