I ordered x7 bolts to replace the ones used to secure the manifold to the head from my local dealer. 2 of the correct ones came in, along with the studs etc, and the guy on the parts desk told me that he'd managed to match up the bolts with another one they had in stock. When I got there, they weren't a perfect match - actually about 4mm longer than the correct item.
The correct bolt is at the top. I've ran the nuts down the other ones, and they're the right thread diameter. But can someone tell me whether they're going to be too long for the recess in the head to attach the manifold correctly? I realise I could put washers behind the head of the bolt, but i'd rather not have to. If someone has a spare head they could examine, that would be great
