ok so got a civic their two weeks ago and unfortunatly when the previous owners drove to meet me the exhaust started blowing out slightly from one end...after a day or two it got very bad(unbearable):nono: so went and got it looked at..the decat which is in the system was very loose so tightened it up...but its still blowing out..i think it needs a gasket..but im not sure if this will completely solve the problem or not and i dont see the point in exhaust putty.....where could you get a gasket for the exhaust...i dont really want to weld it as ill have to put back in cat for a car test...anyone any diy solutions...cheers

would they have one for a decat do you tink....or i was tinking would i just buy a standard cat converter gasket and see if that works/fits...

Will still be the same surely as it bolts to your standard manifold?

if you mean it blowing at the joint between the decat and the b-pipe then I'd unbolt the exhaust, sand and clean both faces smear on some high temp silicone sealant and bolt it back together. Loads better for the job than the sealant paste/putty.

If you mean the manifold to decat joint then buy a new donut. Just search for 'honda exhaust donut' on ebay but obviously make sure you get one the right size ;)
