EP Civic Diesel

Hi Guys,

Thinking of getting a 1.7 ctdi ep shape civic as my daily driver as i have a long commute to work and back.

Has anybody had an experience of these as in power and handling and what they are like to live with!

I've read reviews on internet and watched vids on youtube, but would like to hear from anybody thats driven/owned one

But honestly imo the diesel engines are dead until you get over 2000rpm and the interior looks ok, but the materials are SSSSOOOOOOO cheap and wear really badly!
 
Had a look on YouTube and google but no real reviews from people that have owned one for a long period of time!

They don't sound like the best of yokes from search results, would like to know if there's anybody out there that has owned or knows somebody that has owned one!

The cheapness of the interior is something to think about alright!
 
I too would be interested in hearing reviews on this.. I need to figure out what to buy ahead of winter and salty roads!
 
i have heard ok things about them however as diesel prices are ever rising and although u are getting better mpg its getting very expensive to run diesels now. obviously it will be quite torque and wot be as slow as a snail lol
 
I'm not sure about the 1.7 diesels. But i have driven the 2.2 diesel quite allot and they are quite quick and with a remap good mpg and quick :win:
 
get the 2.2 accord cdti there sharpe at 150bhp standard. dad had one for 5 years or so and never missed a beat
