Engine Shakes badly when warm up

i have got a UKDM EG Lsi(D15B2), everything is fine when the engine is cold, but when the car has traveled a certain distance and engine start to get warmed. Every time I launch the car, when i lift the clutch to a certain position while launching. the engine shakes quite badly(only last for 1 or 2 sec). I need to rev quite high to minimize the shake.
also, i notice there are white smoking and little water dripping out of the back box even when the engine is warmed.
and the car sometimes bog between 2k ~ 3k.

i drained the coolant 2 days ago, the coolant looked fine, but there is a loss of coolant, i checked tonight, there wasnt any coolant left in the tank. never had over-heat problem, no water or creamy color on the oil dipstick, i have also replaced the clutch, dizzy, ht leads, spark plugs, thermostat and serviced the car recently.

could it be the head gasket problem?! someone please help:thanks:

The engine shaking sounds like engine mounts not holding the engine in place. As for the coolant issue, it could be anything from a leak in the cooling system to your head gasket being gone worst case. More than likey a leak though unless your losing power all the time. Do a compression test to see if it is your gasket.

done a compression test and leaking test, nth wrong with the results.
and very strange, there isnt any more white smoke when the car is warmed.
so it cant be the head gasket gone then?!

Are you sure the white smoke wasn't condensation in the air due to it being cold out?? as that does look like white smoke. It scared the sh*t out of me the other day when i saw it coming from my exhaust. Lift your bonnet and get rev the engine, if it rocks back and forth, your engine mounts are f*cked, excuse the french. But that will cause shakes when your launching and changing gears.

There's prob a leak in your cooling system, check around the termostat as mine leaked when i changed it and pretty badly at that till I sealed it up.

Let me know how that goes.

no more white smoke these days, think it could be just the cold weather then:D
if the engine mounts are fine, should the engine move at all when rev?!
my engine does move when i rev, how many engine mounts there are in the bay?! i looked at the two on the side of the engine, they looked fine. there is also one close to the firewall, couldnt see that one very clear tho.
if it's the engine mount, how come it only happen when it's warmed?! i am guessing it's because the heat soften the rubber and the rubbers become more flexible?!

:secret:  I would look at the ignition, fuel and run a compression test to make sure that you don't have and issue. Other than thoughs it sounds like an senor going bad! You will have trouble in the future if you can find it now I promise! There is no such thing as intermittent issue for good running engine with a full tune up:win:!

If the exhaust billows white smoke for a few seconds when first starting the engine after it has been sitting for a while, such as overnight, and then runs normally, it could mean that the rubber valve stem seals have perished - especially if the vehicle is a few years old and has done over 60/70,000 miles.

Taken from WikiAnswers....this is a legit deal though. My old car has this same issue. The shaking...sounds like motor mounts.

the engine light doesnt shows up on the dash, how am i going to find out what the exact problem is?!:(
i have run a compression test and a leak down test, nth showed up.
also i have already replaced dizzy(second hand), and brand new ht leads, plugs, and service the car recently. i am just wondering if i should replace the fuel pump and O2 sensor(one on the manifold) as well. and my car is running 28mpg atm(90% town driving), seems a bit low for a fully standard 1.5 Lsi, isnt it?!:(( and i drive very sensible, shift @ 3k

i know it's an old post, but i still havent solved the problems.....
the engine still shakes after it's warm. got the mechanics to check the engine mounts, nth wrong with them.......any other issues you can think of?! please help......
