Engine Gasket *Puzzled?*

Rite i was changing my crank pulley the other day but when i removed my old one i noticed bits of rubber inside the plastic guard, so i removed the timing belt guard only to find bit of rubber that looks to me like a gasket from somewere.

Does anyone no were this is from, i dont have a clue.

Heres the cover i removed...

And the bits of rubber/plastic round shaped gasket that was found inside..

there was other tiny bits that looked like it made a circle.

Could it have been the circular part of the lower timing belt cover if it was rubbing on the crank pulley washer?

Make sure to do a timing belt while the engine is out, makes it so easy

Im 99% sure its not as I remember that seal still being there...
Anybody any ideas?

from what it looks m8 its your crank pulley touching the plastic cover coz i can see above your oil pan some plastic small parts
