Ek9 - Which Colour??

But you just can't beat a White EK9 with CF bonnet in pre-facelift or facelift. White also give more choice with wheels... anyway, this is my personal taste, would be bad if everyone had the same taste.

i would only buy a white or yellow 9 again...dont like the silver wit the 9 wheels an black is too hard to keep clean!!

champ white is the only true type r colour that get my vote every time

Hmm. I'm back to square one tbh peeps, and I need to let my importer know asap really.:angry2: I was all for getting the black, but after looking at the white 9's with c/f bonnets, I'm having second thoughts. Black does look cool and is more rare but I dunno, white still looks equally cool.

choose the mintest '9' you can get hold of regardless of the colour. . . :D

My vote is for YELLOW! I'm from Los Angeles and we have way 2 many black EK & EJ here. In LA, a city of about 15 million ppl I have only seen 2 yellow EK! White is pretty rare but I know a couple of ppl with them. Personally my EK is gray. Seen way 2 many ppl with this color, I don't feel special. I'm changing my color 2 yellow in the spring.

I duno i like my black Ej, i was thinkin about painting it white, but I just like the whole Black thing, plus the choice of rims will just stand out, I actually purchased some gold/chrome lip spun rims supermesh and i think it will pop off rather nicely

Oh and black gets super hot in summer... :D white is the way to go. But if youve never owned a black car before then I recommend you try... .he he he he

lol, Ive got a black starlet at the moment with white rims:

So you can probably see why I like black ek9s i.e. A black car with white rims. But your white 9 with the c/f bonnet looks so cool. Man, I wish I had the cash to buy a black and white one. Best of both worlds lol

Thanks man, nice ride! I don't see those over here in AUS.

My perception is, Black looks good as it blings more but hides the body lines and curves. White however, shows the body lines really good on the 9. Also looks bigger than black. Then again, there are many variations that you can put together to make it interesting...

I personally like a White 9 with CF bonnet, lowered and 'Rays time attack wheels' drooooooooooooooooolllingggg~~~~~~~~~~:nerv:

Oh, check out this guys EK4

Thanks dude.Their quite popular over in Australia, and have one of the best tuning furums etc. http://www.austarletclub.com/-One of them was running silly bhp, with an mr2 turbo engine conversion:)

Man that is droool lol. I agree with you on that, i.e. black does look bling when polished etc, but shows up more body imperfections:(. I'm swaying towards the white slowly but surely:nice:

black with a carbon bonnet looks **** hot aswell, and yeah mate black cars with white wheels :nice:.
you can say black is hard to keep looking good, but have you ever heard of polish? lol anyway its not as if you don't know what having a black car is like,
and the thing about black cars getting hot is nonsense (aircon) he lives in ireland not australia jugsy, hehe, black ftw!
where are jonny, haribo, babyface and sr20???!!! dont you guys have an opinion??

hehehe... all the colours are nice in their own way :)
i bought the black as its different. white is gorgeous also, however black are ltd :)

Heard of polish lol. Your right though man, I can't deny my car comes up gleaming after a wash and polish:)
Ive since told my importer that I'll be happy with a mint black or white one. Which ever one comes up first really. I'd be happy with either one. They both look cool in different ways.

corral: I should know pretty well... I have another car thats dark and similar to Midnight blue, and have owned black cars previously. Theres no doubt that on a sunset afternoon, with 2 cars 1 white and 1 black in the sun, the black surface is warm to the touch. But the white is cold. Thought you'd know that on a summers hot 40 degrees Celcius day, the black surface can heat up to 160 degrees C. Where as white cars only heats up to 60 degrees C. You can cook an egg on your bonnet. lol. You would have learnt that as well as polishing...

anyway theres nothing wrong with peoples opinions, facts are facts. nothing personal...

well mate theres not many eggs being cooked on black bonnets in ireland!
its a well known fact,he he, remember its a lot colder over here,so its pretty irrelevant from his point of view....
