EK9 "Wannabe" from Brazil

Epic car!
One thing that does worry me though is all that money spent.. And you put it on coilover sleeves? :/

I know ... but for now it's doing it's job. In a future I plan to upgrade to a full tein coil over.

Now some more pics ...

These are old photos, but are nice anyway

And one more ... that was on a Dynojet.

Just a few more pics with new adds ...

On the engine bay : Hybrid-Racing oil cap, K-tuned breather filter, Intake pipe and filter, K-tuned Billet TPS, Marshall fuel pressure gauge, thermal tape on the exhaust.

AND the best one : K-tuned Billet Shifter and Racing cables. In my case, I have the 06+ Si Transmission, so I had to swap the entire shift mechanism for the RSX-S to make the shifter work properly. There's a little wire mess in front of the shifter, that's all my relays for the car, and they will be relocated.

Mite of missed it but how was the dash done? Look's super clean in the interior

The dash had it's original cover taken. I managed to take out only the black fabric and let the foam on place. It needs to be done with a LOT of patience to not wrack the foam. After that I bought a piece of 1,5x2,0m of Ultra Suede and let the car on a local small shop to cover the dash for me.
But to be honest with you, I didn't like it, there are a lot of details that are not right. In a near future I'll try a better shop to do it for me.

Just some nice pics taken by a friend ...

And two little videos.

This one was my first time from a dig. The launch was at 3.000 rpm aprox. Pay attention on the blue tunned car that passes me !!! What a crap !!!!!!!
I dont have ANY TRACTION at all on first gear, totally useless from a dig.

EK K24 from a dig

The second one on board. The first run was 3rd and 4th gear, and the second run from 2nd to 4th ... my 5th gear was not going in because I'm without reverse lockout (6 gear trans), so it's hard to find the right spot n the middle of a run. But you guys can have an idea of how the car is right now.

I love reading builds from other people around the world. This is a serious car, your interior+bay+engine credit goes out to you

Thanks !!!

I'm trying to do the best I can.

But I have to confess, sometimes is hard to have nice parts because our customs taxes are ridiculously high. And as far as honda parts, we have only **** down here. My car is made almost 90% from international parts.
Even my K24A1 block came from Miami, because the prices on Honda Dealers are too high. Just to have an idea I paid for the K24 shortblock and the crankshaft 1.100 usd ... down here the exact same two pieces are sold for the bargain of 10.000 usd.
I think honda is trying to make in Brazil all the money that they aren't making around the world. In fact, all the car factories do the same in here. I think I live in the wrong country.

Incredible build!! This is how a full Kswap should be done!! Fair play.

It's sad to hear the prices are so shocking over there, but I'm not surprised for I've been hearing recently Brazil's economy is steadily on the rise and is the place to be nowadays! lol.

I was looking through your photobucket photo's there earlier, some great photo's of you and your friends cars too!

True Story ... our economy is going very well. But if you look at the stupid prices we pay for everything in here, we live like freakin billionaires !!!!! Paying 10 times more for the same stuff, that for the rest of the world is already high !! And the worst part is that nobody seems to care. That's why I ride in a 1997 car and I'll never, NEVER buy a brand new one.
