finally got round to uploading another lap from last years trip..... not the fastest lap by far, but alot of fun!

the GT3 must have been driven by a right girl, should have been lapping much quicker!

Good vid !

With some Nur spec suspension and the K20/6peed , it would have been a true weapon around there

I'm pretty sure the suspension he had Darragh was sick? Was like N1 race spec dampers with about 5mm of travel lol

Ah Im not saying they were not good , anything but . With the ring you need longer stroke and a medium sprung setup unless you are on slicks .

Giving more confidence is the biggest factor for lower lap times there , until you have a few hundred laps under the belt !

:thanks: My knowledge of suspension is very limited!

This is just so epic.. 10 Minutes of my life very well spent :D

Nice post Steven :nice:

What kind of suspension are you running? Looked like fun!

Tein circuit master N1 dampers with Swift race springs (22k front and 20k rear)

I still know the whole track off the top of my head, the big thing holding me back was front tyre width and lack of power/torque, with maybe 215's up front (with wider fenders) and the K20 setup, would have easily dipped below 8 mins

as stiff as it looks in the video, the car rode pretty well on the track and was just like a go kart! people always assume that you require soft setup for the ring, but tbh there is 1 point you have to lift to avoid getting airborne and that's it

Have you got the 8:20 video? That I'd prefer to see.
Taking nothing away from Steven clearly a great driver and a great car, but the gt3 should be lapping faster.

aye the GT3 should be lapping WAAAYYYYYYYYY faster, haha

didn't get that one unfortunately! going to take lots more footage when i am back next year in a much faster car :)

The fastest one is always the one you miss. Was the case with mine this year, was a couple seconds quicker than my fastest video lap with traffic and a yellow flag section.

Whenever you start that e46 make sure to start the build thread
on here first ..!!
