Hi,

Just a quick question - I have just installed an EK9 non-airbag steering wheel into my EK4 (which is supposed to have an airbag) I have disconnected the SRS and re-connected the horn etc but I'm not quite happy the steering wheel is sitting as it should.

Hopefully someone who has converted their EK9 to non-airbag could help me with this? Here are some pictures, as you can see the steering wheel doesn't fit all the way on the spline there is 1-2mm left but it feels secure. Is it the same for all wheels?

My EK9 was equipped with SRS airbag SW but when i installed my Mugen FG360 SW the boss adaptor doesnt sit perfectly and has a gap between the steering wheel column about the spine doesnt go all the way. I think its normal coz i dont have trouble on the steering feel.

Thanks very much for the reply mate, it's appreciated. So does your Mugen wheel sit how mine is sitting in the pics? and has it been safe since you fitted it? Just don't want to take any risks :)
