Hey.. finally got round to fitting new parts, so thought I'd post some pics up.
The car is stock, other than what's pictured, and I have a race short shifter to fit shortly. Lots more to come, only delay is moving house. Looking at brakes & wheels next, liking Rota Fighter in bronze & thinking about Spoon slotted rotors and ds2500 pads. Anyway hope you enjoy the pics. :)

Looking good:nice: The ds2500 pads are unreal on the track and still work very well on the road. BTW why have you got the tegiwa mugen style intake with the filter and adapter only and without the actual airbox??

Didn't have time to align and secure the airbox. I was working outside with no cover and rained pretty much every few mins the day I was fitting the parts. I may modify the airbox construction myself with a design of my own.

Dead on as the box is the most important part imo. I fitted mine without having to modify the airbox, all you need to do is fabricate a bracket for the filter adapter/velocity stack to mount to and then drill and tap 2 holes into the chasis where the airbox plate mounts to ;)

I also just bent the splash guard brackets to allow me to bolt it in the correct place. Takes a bit of manouvering but its straight forward and I haven't had a problem since fitting

It was catching on about 3 things when I dropped it in. Didn't fancy any holes or cracks so left it till I can work on it properly. I bet its silent with the box on compared to when its exposed like this?

looks great mate, the black in the ek9 looks **** hot ;) is that a custom cross bar?looks so good wanted to get a miracle cross bar but they have stopped producing them now :(

Sounds great with the box and has a really good noise which isnt quiet but its gona be quiter than the open filter

Id not bother fitting the short shifter if you value your synchros :p hows handling with the 3 point front brace and x brace? i got too much understeer when i was braced up

How will it damage the synchro's ?

Handles pretty good on small bends and roundabouts. Not been able to fully test due to worn rotors and bearings, both needing replacement. They cook very quickly currently so having to improvise or not brake at all, exiting stuff :nice: good for sharpening your senses and wits :p

bro what is the brand of ur x bar? how much its cost? TIA

It has been said that short shifters increase synchro wear due to increased shift speed, long shifters are the future.

New pics coming soon. Taking it to Honda for a parts refresh Monday. Then pick up the new daily driver.. ZF1 Sport also in black ;)

Update on the new parts being fitted at Honda: going to have all 4 bearings/hubs as only one of the fronts was still ok lol.. also steering gaiters as they are split & oem discs and pads all round. Don't want to look at the bill lol
