EK9 Servicing

Hi Guys,

prob a stupid question but how often should you service these cars? As im to used to evo serving 4500 miles or 6months. I did try searching but couldn't find anything

4-6k for oil and filter. Plugs ever other service (standard copper core plugs)
 
Standard road car with a good oil can't see why 10k isn't possible.(I wouldn't personally) 6k sounds decent enough to me on a road car.
10k Doesn't sound great but we all change far too often anyway.

Track car you'll want to change it more often though.

Ok will do that, just a bit surprised as the evo u only need to change spark plugs every 35k miles
 
If you buy say iridiums or similar plug then 35k is fine. I'd Defo run any plug longer than 1 year though(about 3-4k miles for me)
 
Ok as I will be doing around 9k a year and won't be using cheap stuff on my car, my cars only get the best :)
 
Yeah Defo keep the plugs in there.
Perhaps change the oil every 11months or something? Depends on where it gets driven.
Mine is purely trackdays and turbocharged so I'm harsh on oil.
Where I only do track mileage and very limited road mileage I'll be lucky to do 1k on an oil change lol

It's fine to be cautious though if you can afford to change it in half the mileage then why not?
