ek9 manifold won't fit.... help

ok just put my new standard b16a2 in ready to put new toys on. but came to put my ek9 manifold on and it won't fit to my cat. do i need an adjustabe cat that i've heard so much about. or just a wider mid section????

This is because it is a jdm Manifold going to a British cat. Loose the cat and get a decat pipe made to suit.
