i just bought an EK9 front strut bar for my ej6, however i noticed it doesnt bolt right in....

so heres my ? guys... as you know the EK9 front strut bar goes bolted in diff holes, meaning that it does not bolt right onto the suspension bolts...

non ek9 like my case (ej6) do not have these holes opened... i currentlly have a megan (ebay) strut bar, but its bolted right onto the bolts that the car already has... is it worth drilling the holes to put in the ek9 bar? and wich bar works the best?

Honestly if you don't have an EK9 it's ricey to spend the money to get the studs affixed where they need to be. You'd be better off with a 3 point strut bar anywayz:

That one even comes with a Brake Master Cylinder brace....two in one.

^That is mine...if you want an explanation for why it's better than an OEM two-point lemme know.

i'd be great insight if you'd explain why?

and I bought the OEM ek9 bar, bacause honestly it was to good of a deal to pass... i got for about $28 US.... bt being the noob that i am... didnt know you had to drill holes on the chassis...

3-point strut bars not only minimize the flex between the shock towers but also balance that minimization off the firewall. It further reinforces the shock towers by having that third point to use as a brace. It made a HUGE difference on my car and I used to have a 2 point (one piece) strut tower bar prior to the 3 point.

I made the same mistake when i got my hatch. And when i was about to fit it, i said wheres the holes at? :nono:
