ek9 earthing kit

Hi all just bought a ek9 for a rally car build and it has a earthing kit fitted, don't know a thing about them , do they work or can I take it off , what do they do,

I dont think they make a massive difference. But the start motor/gbox and block both need strong earths. If you do remove it make sure the original earths are fitted.

as said its not essential. You can get kits that are voltage stabilizers too, which is the only advantage i would say!

It may have been fitted to cure a dodgy earth, just make sure the neutral to chassis connection has a really good connection as i suffered really bad with it
